Companies we've launched, advised
or otherwise championed
Bitesize’s vision is to create a combination of venture studio
and accelerator, where projects are developed internally
(studio) and others are sourced externally (accelerator).
Studio projects are developed internally. Every year we diligently select 2-3 projects to develop and together with a team of domain experts and advisors we bring the ideas into life and aim for a positive impact.
Accelerator projects are sourced externally. Every year we diligently select 2-3 teams to work with us. Together, we aim to contribute to learning in the field of social entrepreneurship and venture philanthropy.
As startup accelerators spread around the world, much is being learned about the importance of connecting entrepreneurial efforts with those of the broader community of stakeholders. It is more than the power of a stronger network, it’s also about aligning our vision and working toward common goals, unlocking capital and ensuring that we meet our social mission.
As an incubator, Bitesize is investing time alongside co-founders in each company. Where others invest in 20-40 companies, we invest in 2-4 per year.
In 2020, Bitesize companies received $3.8M from Afore Capital, Abstract and Coelius Capital, among others.
